Well, Telemundo flinched. Hasta que la plata nos separe is being moved to afternoons at 1/12 pm and they’re starting Amor Valiente Monday the 23rd (NOT the 31st) at 9/8 pm. Was Hasta really that bad?
UniMás has two reruns starting afternoons Monday, Teresa and La féa mas bella.
Soltero con hijas is in últimos capítulos on Univision. La Mexicana y el güero replaces it in the 8/7pm spot on the 31st.
June 13 Mujer de nadie premieres on Las Estrellas. It’s produced by Giselle González, 45 episodes, Rosa María Bianchi’s in it (after taking a six year break).
Sometime in June, Disney+ is premiering Siempre fui yo, a murder/mystery show starring Karol Sevilla.
I’ve been watching a completely trashy reality show on Netflix, Insiders. It was shot in Spain, so there are lots of regional Spanish accents and slang and cussing. The whole thing is just psychological manipulation, as if someone realized they could run seriously unethical psychology experiments by calling it a reality show. A second season dropped yesterday. Yes, I’m going to watch it. No, I’m not going to feel bad about myself for doing it.
I’m up to episode 4 of Amor Valiente and I’m squicked out at the way Sühan handled the workers all trying to quit. It was very “how dare you peasants not be content with the pittance we give you!” Not a good look for a protagonista. That’s some villano shit there.
I just went to add a recording for Amor Valiente and the listings on my box are from months ago.
What do you think of it? I just couldn’t fit it into my schedule.
It was ok. I’ve only seen the first couple of episodes, though. I did notice the guy who played Elmer on Secretos is playing the head stable guy? hacienda foreman?
Tonight, Telemundo started running promos for another Turkish novela, Infiel: historia de un engaño. Says it’s coming “muy pronto.” Here’s the Wiki entry:

I think that actor is named Mete Horozoğlu, but I don’t see him in the cast credits (looking at IMDb).
I was kind of surprised, because I would have recognized him by name. Maybe I’m mistaking him for another actor.
I think he was in Entre dos amores. I’ve mixed him up with Elmer too.
Yes! The sanctimonious dad! That’s him!
Wow, great update, Kat! I’m glad to know why they changed the date on Amor valiente. That had me confused.
I have to say that Hasta que la plata nos separe looked pretty bad to me. Plus, even though I like Carmen Villalobos, she’s been overexposed on Telemundo.
I’m really excited to hear that there’s a new production by Giselle González. I’ve loved so many of her shows.
Your trashy Netflix reality can’t be any worse than La casa de los famosos, which, yes, I’ve been watching again! I excuse myself by saying that I’m not actually watching it; I’m only listening to it as I exercise or do chores around the house. So, it’s like an audiobook or podcast, rather than a show I sit down to view. Still, I can’t believe how low I’ve sunk . . . AGAIN!
I just watched the trailer for Siempre fui yo. Looks like just the sort of thing I would enjoy. Battling bands plus mystery…yes please!
I’ve got the DVD set for Amor valiente. I hope it does not disappoint.
